Mother’s Blessingway 🌿✨

In honor of Miss Opal May turning ONE tomorrow, I’m finally sharing @chyenne_mcdonald’s Blessingway. 🌸

If you’re new this concept, a Mother’s Blessingway is a sacred, non-traditional ceremony, often held in place of or alongside a baby shower. It focuses on emotionally and spiritually supporting the mother as she prepares for childbirth and motherhood. Unlike a typical baby shower, which centers around gifts for the baby, a blessingway celebrates the mother’s journey, with rituals that include sharing wisdom, affirmations, and symbolic acts of care. The event is intimate, nurturing, and designed to create a strong circle of support for the mother during this transformative time. 🥹🙏🏼🌿✨

Chyenne’s Blessingway was the first one I’ve attended and her mother and sister and midwife did such an incredible job. 🥲🫶🏼 Another cool aspect is Chy actually gave birth to Opal in the house where the Blessingway was held. ✨✨✨ #magic
