✨about my major | interior architecture @ TU

Hey there guys! Today’s sharing is a bit special as I would like to introduce about myself 👀 If you’ve seen my previous vlogs/post you may have a bit of insight about me. I’m a student from 𝙏𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙤𝙧’𝙨 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 currently majoring in 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧’𝙨 𝘿𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝘼𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 👋🏻

I pursued diploma before continuing my degree so it isn’t really new thing for me, so would like to share a bit about my major and perhaps give some insight to you guys who might be interested ✨

Some might have heard about interior design but what exactly is interior architecture? Basically this major carries the same content but instead we also learn a bit more on architects perspectives, which makes us know a bit broader about building and structure, possibly able to help in understanding exteriors too.

Before this I’ve had my diploma in interior design at The One Academy, and from what I could say it is totally different experience as before this we focused more on concepts and visuals of our projects.

Coming to Taylor’s University, I’ve gotten a total different perspective in this major where we learnt more about the relativeness in the works that we create and also engagement into real life situations and hands on work. For someone like me who don’t cope so well with too much theory I would say is the best major for me 😌 Why exactly did I choose to pursue my degree at Taylor’s University is because of its matured system that has been formed in this major, and as an ID they are accredited by LAM and also industry exposure where students are able to gain experience from working projects.

The coverage of this major doesn’t limit to just residential or commercial projects, but we also get to learn furniture design, applications on graphic works and etc. I would say a lot of skills learned are able to allow me to pursue various types of work as I know bit of everything 🤣

I’ll stop my sharing here because I’m afraid I’ve shared abit too much haha. But surely do hope that if anyone is interested in this major could get some knowledge on it 🙆🏻‍♀️ And maybe who knows? We’ll meet each other at Taylor’s University 😌
