Honestly, I am not sure if it’s a common experience for hustlers. We are so used to the grind and so worried about lagging behind that we give no space or bandwidth for us to rest. I have a full time job at a healthcare tech company, a side hustle as a photographer, I go for yoga weekly, I also have a partner, I go runs weekly and I try to meet my friends once every two weeks. I also have my part time degree upcoming…
It can be so tiring for me but yet for some reason, I always push on then I would take a day to rest but it wouldn’t help and the cycle repeats.
I wonder is it because I actively prioritised others needs above mine ? Or is it just the compelling need to juggle everything perfectly ? Maybe it is because I am a people pleaser?

After being so aware of my own behavior, I decided to slow down and prioritised my needs every once in a while.
I started to draw boundaries and say no to people. I started to plan rest days for myself. I started to say yes to me time which I originally enjoyed and say no to everyone’s time when I have no bandwidth.
To the hustlers out there, you are deserving of your own time! You are deserving of the rest u want! Give yourself the break u deserve today!
