Did you know you can paraglide in Hanoi?

Went to Hanoi last December and tried paragliding and it was honestly the best thing I’ve ever did so I’d love to share my experience with yall! A lot of my friends were surprised when I told them that I was going to paraglide at Hanoi because a lot of people don’t know that you can paraglide there!

Our experience

Firstly for transport, we booked the one with transfer service so they would picked you up at Big C supermarket at 8am however there are delays and the bus only reached at 8.30am and then head to the landing site which took an hour and we then had to transfer to another vehicle to get to the mountain as the road there are very rocky so it was very bumpy. Remember to bring some light snacks so that you can eat it while waiting because it’s usually in the morning!

During our wait for the vehicle to bring us up the mountain, we were hungry so we bought food from the locals there and it was sooo good and they were so kind to us!

There were other paragliders there too, and we happened to meet singaporeans there as well and they are experienced paragliders that flew all the way to Hanoi to paraglide themselves so it was really nice chatting with them!

However the only cons that I had was we had to wait for a total of 3 hrs for everything to be done because the pilot had to make several round trips for other people so it took a total of 3hrs before we can make our way down which was honestly a bummer but other than that it was a 5/5!

Would really recommend doing this if you’re in Hanoi because it’s not something you’d expect people to do so it’s definitely an experience and the view was also breathtaking!
