Things I brought abroad from 🇲🇾 •food edition•

I moved to NZ about a year ago and I realized how much I misss all things Malayasia! From our food products to bodycare products, I find that asian products suit me far better. Having said that, I went back to Malaysia for a summer break and brought back some Malaysian staples.

Here are some of my favs:-

1. Kicap Manis Pedas (Spicy and Sweet Soy Sauce) by ✨Mahsuri✨

- This goes on everything and makes everything taste better ie. nasi goreng + telur mata kicap 🤤🤤

- I follow a lot of Kairul Aming's recipes and this is a must

2. Tomyam Instant Noodles by ✨ Maggi ✨

- I mean this is self-explanatory lol 💯

3. White Coffee sachets by ✨ Aik Cheong ✨

- Nothing beats white coffee and of course, I brought a whole pack to bring to work and uni for a pick-me-up after all those after-lunch-lectures lol 😴

4. Sugar Crackers by ✨ Hup Seng ✨

- The ultimate sugar cracker is a must! I have come to notice that our Asian-taste pallet is very different from the locals. The biscuits and cookies that are typically found here range in other flavours that I'm not used to such as ginger-nuts, lemon and chocolate-orange. Sooooo, to solve that problem, I'm bringing my own hahah 😅

5. Sup Bunjut & Perencah Sup by ✨Adabi✨

- Our Asian spices can be quite pricy here and some are hard to find, so bringing the pre-packed soup sacks is a lifesaver. It also helps my soup taste just like home 🥰
