FUN SENSORY ACTIVITY

As mama’s we all have our days where the house is a mess, the kids want to fight, and dinner isn’t close to being done. Lately, I have been trying to find ways to connect with the kids a bit more instead of worrying about how everything isn’t going as planned. These sensory “calming” jars are so easy to make and help provide diversion to keep us all calm.

Here’s what you need:

Clear Elmer’s glue

Glitter

An 8 ounce mason jar

Warm water

Food coloring

Start by adding about an inch of clear glue. Then add your glitter and a few drops of food coloring. After that, add warm water. Top with a little more glue. Put the top on, then shake it.

You did it! Now enjoy! Each of my boys has one of these jars in their rooms! They love it!
