🤔 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 ?(💡𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟭 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - just that it requires more effort to annotate on PowerPoint)

1️⃣ Create a list and sort them according to the different spaces/rooms

2️⃣ Mark them on your floor plan in PowerPoint

3️⃣ Don’t forget to mark out those that are within the carpentry ie LED lighting in wardrobe

4️⃣ Plan the circuit and route them to the switches

🥰 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴:

✔️ Height of switches

✔️ Colour of switches

✔️ Number of gangs per switch ie 1-gang, 2-gangs & 3-gangs

✔️ Do you need a 2-way switch such that you can switch off the same light at two different parts of the house?

✔️ Integrate dimming system for lights. Ensure the lights itself have a dimmable driver.

𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀:

❗️Electricians charge by per point. The more the number of lighting points you have, the more $ it’ll cost due to manpower.

💡 So plan your lighting points and keep them concise

❗️How do you know if you have enough lights in the house?

💡 Some of the more renowned lighting consultants/suppliers are able to do a lux simulation for you based on their own products ie Million Lighting, Sol Luminaire … I even saw someone listing their services on Carousell 😂

❗️What if you want to customise the space according to your mood and needs?

💡 You can consider having a Smart home system where you can control the intensity and colour of the lights! We love our Google smart home system 🥰
