quietly nestled a stone's throw away from mount austin, the FOUNDERS cafe is an industrial cafe that doesn't feel like Singapore or Malaysia 🗺️

it was nothing like i had expected! the marriage of the classic mexican quesadilla with a thai twist of tom yam, sounds a lil strange but TRUST ME this is a must try!! BEST BELIEVE i'll be back for this 😋

spicy thai chicken pasta 🍝 rm28.50 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

this was so good too but was a tad bit too spicy for my liking, i'm just realising i ordered 2 dishes with tom yam oops HAHAHA 😀 i really like how they elevated the dry tom yam pasta with peppercorns and baby corns, adds a nice kick and a good cRONCH

matcha latte (with coffee) 🍵 rm17.50 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

the matcha latte with coffee was pretty much like a dirty matcha, i enjoyed it but it was so-so to me, nothing special imo bUT i also realised i prefer matcha on its own :o

lemon meringue tart 🍋 rm?? (i can't remember how much 😳) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

i personally LOVE lemon tarts and cakes and this was no exception! i love that it was sour but not TOO sour, sweet but not too sweet, it's really just nice for me (my goldilocks moment HAHAHA) i also noticed that people drive up to the cafe just to buy boxes and boxes of their tarts and cakes, so maybe i'll come back next time to try their other cakes and tarts 😗

i think it's worth visiting if you're in the mount austin area, or if you don't mind the drive up (roughly 30 mins from CIQ), prices are also cheaper than SG!
