i donโt know about you guys but i love travelling - as you can already tell from my numerous posts on my exchange times and travelling. personally, i truly really enjoy collecting things as well to remember where i went! other than pictures/videos of my time there, which i eventually compile into nice little posts and collages or vlogs, i also love to buy or collect souvenirs! so hereโs a list of things i collected + how i use them or look back on them.
ps sorry i was gone for so long ๐ญ starting work is hard HAHAHA

there is something to watch in every city tbh HAHA in london it's musicals, then opera/ballet in europe, or even orchestras and organ concerts in churches/cathedrals! you bet i watched Everything.
usually they sell these booklets with the background, cast details, songs, descriptions and more. personally, i think this is a wonderful (and usually cheap!) way of remembering everything you are watching since filming is Probably not allowed for these performances.
also! bonus if you find any of the cast good looking ;) or talented, because you can find out their names and follow them! also you get such high quality photos of the performances, it's priceless.

no description needed! but i generally like to buy postcards that are more unique (or extremely cheap). they are usually a great way to bring home a piece of the place you are visiting in an easy way.
i did notice that it is a lot more common in europe vs asia (and most of the asian postcards are honestly not very nice). so generally i either go for those that feature the actual scenery or building that i saw, or those that are hand drawn! i try not to buy the nicest one if realistically that is not what i saw irl HAHA

ever since young, i have loved scrapbooking! so itโs a no brainer to keep all these scraps of papers to prove to yourself that you HAVE BEEN THERE! personally, my memory sucks.. so having a physical way to look back on all the experiences and shows that I have went to is a Great way of keepsakes for me. also, after receiving something, i just hate throwing things away so i always think of how to repurpose them and this has brought me a lot of joy hehe
bonus if the tickets are well designed or if brochures are particularly pretty! sometimes we take soo many pictures digitally that it gets lost but having it laid out on a page forces you to look at it so i like it.

everyone who knows me knows that i LOVE my plush keychains! i even have a section on my shelf dedicated to them and every single bag i own has a keychain on it. i always think a LOT before i buy one bc i am super picky but proud to say that everything i own is legit super cute <3 i also love buying regular plushies although those are harder to carry aroundโฆ
quick shoutout to my m&ms that i got in london!! i want to have a whole collection so hopefully iโll be back in london soon enough :โ)
๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ฎ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ?
hereโs a thought process i try to follow so that i donโt get carried away!
1. is this a mass produced product? if yes, i usually donโt buy it unless i really like it.
2. is this exclusive to this place/country?
3. is this something that reflects what i personally like?
4. is it handmade or unique in its production?
of course, i was heavily restricted by the lack of baggage in europe too so that helped me to reduce my spendings by a lot. think out of the box for ways to remember your trip (i.e. making vlogs or picture collages, using paper items you already have, etc.) and remember to enjoy the process too! i find a lot of joy in many of these souvenirs and enjoy looking for them as much as having them :โ)
happy and safe travels always!
