⛰️Mt Kinabalu Low’s Peak - 4,095.2m

A quick documentation of my 2D1N Mount Kinabalu hike that I did in Mar 2024!

Booked our tour with Borneo Calling and it costs RM 2,250 per pax. Guess it’s peak period hence the price.

We were very blessed with good weather at the summit!

The hike was not technically difficult, but physically exhausting for me because of the duration (esp descending part) and the altitude. I was hit by altitude sickness during my summit attack, and it got better with Panadol. (AMS pills side effects were 😖 but I guess it really did help)

Descending was the part that completely “killed” me and friends had to wait an hour for me to come down 😮‍💨 (sorry!!) was really so so so tired and running extremely low on energy 😢

The views at the top was a solid 💯 though! I would want to return for the Ferrata route when I am physically fitter. 🫶🏻❤️

Highly recommend this hike although it is expensive and super commercialised.
