Trader Joe’s Birria Two Ways

Taco Tueeeeessssday!! (Late post)

I ran to Trader Joe’s after seeing a video of a girl making tacos with the beef birria. It was slightly salty, but aside from that it was delicious, well seasoned, not needing any doctoring (garlic powder, onion powder, etc).

In the future I’ll add low sodium chicken stock, allowing it to simmer to reduce the saltiness. This will also provide consome, to soak the tacos in, as the original packaging didn’t leave much gravy.

Not only did I make tacos, but I also had a yummy breakfast with last nights leftovers, placing the birria meat over cheese grits. 8.5/10, will definitely repurchase.
