Fine Dining @Maza [New Japanese Resto in JKT]

Was excited to try Maza (previously Masanobu) which is owned by Altitude group since the reviews’ been good!

8 ppl, 19 dishes (with few double orders of the same dish 🙈) = food coma 🫠

Overall food enak but biasa aja & portionnya terlalu kecil gak worth it sih. Met 2 other group of friends coincidentally & mereka have the same opinion ✌🏻

AMBIENCE & SERVICE: Restonya not that big tapi cozy, perfect for date / hangout night. Service is good and quick but I noticed during mealtime most of the staffs are free and just watching us eat. Yes it’s good to be on standby, tp I always feel awkward kalo makan diliatin 😅🙈

FOOD:

1. Tuna pizza ⭐️ — thin & crispy! a classic 🫶🏻

2. Eihire — worth trying :))

3. Crispy rice salmon — crispy indeed but too much mayo/mentai.

4. Salmon sashimi

5. Tamago open temaki

6. Wagyu chips — skip!! ❌

7. Truffle edamame — some were undercooked & couldn’t really taste the truffle.

8. Maza green salad

9. Kani chahan

10. Unagi ⭐️ — yummy!

11. Ika pasta

12. Slow cooked salmon — can’t go wrong with salmon ❤️

13. Mini wagyu steak don — very average, can skip!

14. Mini maza don — chirashi was bit tasteless & quality of ingredients’ not that good imo. Better go to Sum*re :))

15. Wagyu bone marrow rice — skip!! ❌

16. Wagyu zabuton — can try :))

17. Maza cheesecake ⭐️ — light and creamy like foam.

18. Yuzu jelly & ohba sorbet (not pictured)

19. Black cod (not pictured) ⭐️ — nothing special but still yummy.
