I stayed in Indonesia’s NO. 1 Hostel in BALI

Yeah i’m not even kidding. This place, is hippy Love Island in Bali - Topless men with 6 pack and gorgeous ladies in their bikinis, hanging round by the pool, reading their books and doing some meditation…

For about SGD$39/night (Mix 8 pax dorm), you can gain access to the “Best Hostel in Indonesia” which is basically populated with caucasians just chilling by the pool, or doing yoga.

Of course; there is also the option of a private room at SGD$130/night which is basically way more expensive than a typical 4 star hotel in Bali 😂😂

But is it worth it? I would say, the facilities were awesome. I have personally never seen a hostel with such good service and well-maintained facilities. Your beds are made, the staff are very welcoming, you get free breakfast, free yoga classes at 7pm and massages if you sign up, and of course of a community of people around you, compared to just staying alone in a hostel.

Here’s who i recommend it for:

✅ Solo or Duo pair travellers

✅ Extroverted individuals who are willing to take the first step to approach others

✅ Open minded to different cultures

✅People who don’t mind sharing spaces with others

✅ Yogis as the popular studio Yoga Barn is just a short walking distance away

I would not recommend it for:

❌ Introverts/ People who really need your own space

❌ Larger groups of friends as it’s not worth the money given that this is a hostel and you’re better off paying less by booking a villa

❌ People who want to go to the club hopping and have no private transport as Ubud has not that huge of a night life scene compared to Canggu and Seminyak so you’d have to travel pretty far to get there

Honestly, i think Love Island should truly consider having a season here in Bali. With all the digital nomads, expats, travellers here, it would be a pretty lit season 🥵😂

If you are a solo female traveller who rather stay with females, I would recommend instead the Arya Wellness Retreat which is an all-inclusive hostel, similar to Puri Garden for females only. It’s def on my bucket list the next time i visit Bali again.
