trying bukchon exclusives at osulloc ✨

my family lovesssss osulloc so we had to visit their cafe at bukchon hanok village!

their first floor sells their usual packaged tea but I find that it’s cheaper (or more deals) at Lotte department store.

we ordered one drink each:

1. green oolong | 9,000 KRW | 3/5

this was a little bitter for me

2. camellia flower blooming forest | 9,000 KRW | 3.5/5

I didn’t really like how the packaged one smelled but this had such a nice floral smell when brewed.

3. green tea o fredo | 7,500 KRW | 3.5/5

I got this because I wanted a 2-in-1 with the ice cream. but this got too jelak since we ordered desserts and I struggled to finish this 😭

4. matcha hallabong crush cocktail | 7,500 KRW | 4.5/5

this was super interesting and refreshing to drink! it comes with a sorbet but it’s not too sweet! definitely try this if you want something unique.

5. green tea waffle plate | 15,000 KRW | 3/5

these are made fresh to order but it wasn’t even hot? idk if it’s supposed to be mochi waffles but it was super hard to cut :/

6. rice dessert & 4 dipping sauce | 12,000 KRW | 4/5

this came with 4 dipping sauce, red pepper, green tangerine, ginseng honey, green tea kaya and honey as the basic sauce. I really liked the green tea kaya sauce as it tastes like home 💚 I wasn’t too impressed by the other sauce but I actually found myself craving for the green tangerine sauce the next day!

my family also bought some desserts from their lotte department store to try previously (also available at the cafe)

7. green tea roll cake | 6,000 KRW | 4/5

price is a little steep but a classic that everyone loves!

8. matcha strawberry cake | 9,000 KRW | 4.5/5

the matcha and strawberry layer balances each other out so well and I enjoyed it more than expected!

overall, I really enjoyed chilling at the cafe but not sure if I’ll order what I ordered again. right beside is also the sulhwasoo flagship store if you are interested (do note that it closes on mondays). there’s also other popular cafes nearby (knotted & layered) if you want to cafe hop!
