Ingredients:
1 lb ground chicken
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce
1 tosp fish sauce
1 tosp lime juice
1 tsp Sriracha (optional, for a spicy kick)
1 cup shredded carrots
1 cup sliced cucumber
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated Fresh cilantro for garnish Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Sauté the chopped onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger until fragrant and softened.
Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, and Sriracha. Pour the sauce into the skillet with the onions, garlic, and ginger.
Stir to combine.
Combine: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for a few more minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
Assemble the Wraps: Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture into each lettuce leaf. Top with shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, chopped peanuts, and green onions.
Garnish & Serve: Garnish with fresh cilantro and sesame seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy the fresh, flavorful bites!
