F A L L dinners through the years 💭 🍂

I had the idea for this series of drawings a while back so it was time to finally out one to (virtual) paper! I had so much fun researching these.

Just in time for the cooler weather, here’s how fall dinners have evolved since the 1940’s! I think the 50’s and their molded salads really scare me the most… but I wanted to show a theme here;

While so much changes, even more stays the same. Serving dishes get passed down, recipes evolve into something more modern, desserts get better, but mostly, the dinner table has never changed. It’s a place to celebrate, convene, and set the tone for what’s to come.
