Not only is it the prettiest pink smoothie, but it’s delish and my favorite go to post workout fuel! During my pregnancy I’ve been CRAVING fruit and smoothies and with the warmer months approaching, this is perfect.

I absolutely love a good Playa Bowl smoothie and it’s a great pit stop when I’m on the go after the gym, but I wanted to make this one at home to save money. Here’s what you’ll need:

✿ nutribullet or blender

✿ ice cubes (5-6)

✿ 1/2 frozen banana

✿ handful frozen pineapple or mango

✿ half packet of pitaya — I get the brand Pitaya Foods frozen dragon fruit packs from Sprouts or Whole Foods!

✿ unsweetened vanilla coconut milk

✿ one scoop vanilla protein powder — I use Ascent protein powder

TIP: to make your smoothie consistency like your favorite smoothie shop, do this —

1. add your ice cubes FIRST (only like 5-6 cubes)

2. then add your fruits and your scoop of protein

3. add your milk, start with about 4 oz then slowly add after each time you blend. avoid adding too much liquid at first bc you want the consistency to be thiqqq
