How I ended up in A&E for 3D2N from opening a door

Its been a month... since i was admitted... still cant believe how clumsy can I be 😂

How should I begin without making me sound... like a gundu...

I was just rushing to work as my ride was here.... but i dont know what got into me that morning that i pulled the door so hard that i slammed my feet into the door....

When i got out i tot it was just gg to be bruised on my toe.. bt it started bleeding like mad but uk Grab has that count down so I had to just get a plaster n limp my way to the car even when i know its bleeding badly... up till today I dont know how did i managed to go to work, rushed my stuff before gg to the clinic. (Even the doctor asked me how did i tahan for half a day...)

It was then the doctor from company's clinic tell me to walk to A&E to get my toe nail removed caused the slam was so hard that the nail was loose and he couldnt do it at the clinic cause 'its gg to be a mess'.

I didnt know how i should feel as I was alone... my trip to the A&E was just 3times longer as I felt lonely and in pain (tho A&E was just opposite the clinic).

Then I limped my way there from 1 end to another after registration and checks the nurses had to roll me in with a wheelchair cause the temporary bandage was too huge tht i couldn't wear my footwear. After all the Xray & consultation, I was advised to get a DAY surgery. (By then my partner was here and thank goodness he was cause I totally spaced out and didnt catch what the nurse told me)

After all the needles, I was pushed in to the waiting area... it was then I knew... it was a bad choice 😂 there were patients who waited 2 days that were still there at the A&E 🤦🏻‍♀️ Nurses wasnt even sure whats de waiting time cause patients just kept flooding in that day... and a Day became 3 😂 but Alhamdulillah 🤲🏻 everything went well, post surgery checks are fine but I miss my toe nail...

till today im still a little 🤏🏻 traumatised but def a costly lesson learnt!
