How to See the Bluebonnets 💙

Bluebonnets typically only bloom in the month of April, and they usually bloom around the 3rd week of the month (although this can vary of course depending on weather and a variety of conditions).

Bluebonnets can be found all over Texas, but the BEST place to see them is in Ennis, Texas. Ennis is about 40 minutes from Dallas.

You can visit bluebonnettrail.org for the most up to date info about the blooms and the Bluebonnet Festival, and you can also download the trail map which features over 40 miles of driving trails, so you won’t be disappointed!

There are 3 sections of the trails: North, South, and West.

My absolutely favorite is the West Trail because it’s home to the Meadow View Nature Area and Veterans Memorial Park. All of my bluebonnet photos were taken in these two spots.

Disclaimer: Please don’t touch, pick, or step on the bluebonnets! Remember to leave no trace. The one I am holding is a fake flower that I bought as a prop.
