🍴MUST TRY restaurants when in Seoul

We went to Seoul with wayyy too many restaurants on our list - while some were misses, we had a few hits that are too good not too share. I’ve compiled a list of food I loved and would highly recommend for your next trip to Seoul!

1️⃣ Doma

We queued up for around an hour and the food did not disappoint! Marinated raw crab was provided as part of the banchan which was quite rare. The meats were juicy and tender, though the wagyu was the best out of the combo we got. The herb salt is where it’s at though - we loved it so much and it went perfectly with the meat! It was even better than dipping it in ssamjang. You have to try this place 🥩

2️⃣ bb.q Olive Chicken

We ordered the platter with golden original, golden black pepper and spicy chicken. It came with fries, cheese balls and a cheese stick. This was probably the best fried chicken we had! I especially loved the black pepper flavour and omg I wish we could’ve had it one more time before leaving 🥲 bb.q was way better than BHC in our opinion!

3️⃣ Yoojung Sikdang

BTS fan or not, you have to come try the bibimbap here! Their pork stone bibimbap is a dish I haven’t seen anywhere else and was super tasty. It’s also super affordable at around 10,000won for one bibimbap. Don’t be put off by the interior bc the food here is really yummy!

4️⃣ Boseung Hall

Conveniently located in Hongdae, you have to come and try their pork rib hangover soup! The soup was comforting and the meat was generous and cooked to perfection. If you’re more adventurous they also have sundae with soup, but my bf ordered it and said he preferred my hangover soup 😅

5️⃣ Pro Soy Crab

More on the pricier side but it was an above average experience. Crabs were pretty fresh too. I preferred the yangnyeom version more as the soy version was abit too fishy for me - the marinate helped mask the taste a little bit. I know there’s other michelin star gejang restaurants but we were struggling to make a reservation in advance. Pro Soy Crab is a good choice if you want to do a walk in!
