🍦New go-to dessert spot in Tanjong Pagar

We were looking for dessert options in Tanjong Pagar that was a little different so we settled on Dopa, a nut-based (don’t let that put you off) creamery! I’ve heard of them before but haven’t chanced upon their South Bridge Road outlet. This Tanjong Pagar outlet was in a perfect and super accessible location, just opposite the korean food stretch! 🌱

Interior was cute, I loved the red brick detail going around the whole store - super cozy and cute vibes 🪵 But onto the important bit - the ice cream:

We ordered a waffle with 3 scoops of ice cream - butter crumble, strawberry honey and white peach sorbet. We would’ve gone with just one scoop but there was a promo so the whole thing amounted to just $15 as we got the 3rd scoop for free

🧇 The waffle was above average! It was crispy and came drizzled with honey. Pretty standard waffle, you won’t go wrong with it

🍓 The strawberry honey flavour was my fav! You can taste equal parts honey and strawberry, it was something unique and nothing I’ve seen before. It’s a combi that goes well together! It is a bit on the sweeter side though

🍑 The white peach sorbet was light and refreshing, great for a hot day! Eating it with the waffle was a bit weird though, but to each their own

🧈 We also tried butter crumble, this one had bits inside. It was salty and sweet at the same time! I’m not sureee how I feel about it but it was another unique combo! My bf loved this one

Overall I’ll definitely be back for the strawberry honey gelato and to try out other flavours! The flavours are much more interesting than other ice cream shops around the area and I can’t wait to visit again already.
