My 2nd Pair of Custom Joycons! 🎮

After reshelling Nintendo Switch joycons twice now, here are my tips if you want to do it to yours:

1. Have a plan. This time I planned to swap out the buttons, but the second pair was a cheapo (not Nintendo) and had the plastic shell covering where the ir camera would have been, making a hole in the new shell. *I had to buy a part last-minute and connect it after reshelling it.

2. Magnetize your screw driver (game changer!)

3. Keep the screws you remove from your joycon and the screws that come with your new shells separate, even better if you can keep each step of parts separate.

4. Watch a video tutorial as you do it, and pause/rewind as needed. Yes, I still did this with it being the second time, to be safe. Some screws are color coded and there are holes that you don’t use until additional layers of the shell are in place.

⭐️Not a tip, but BONUS - I had to do more to this one, but it took about 15 minutes less time to do since I had done it before! 😄
