Have you ever thought the food was a decent price, UNTIL you paid the bill and saw the extra GST and service charge? ๐ This happened to me recently, but at karaoke. The price should have been $60 for 5 ppl, but after the extra charges, it became almost $80!!!
So now, I bring to you 3 food places where you won't be shocked by the prices when you finally tap that card ๐ The list is a variety of cuisines so you can choose the food that fits your mood ๐ค
1. TENDERBEST MAKCIK TUCKSHOP
Menu differs from the usual Tenderbest as it has a greater variety and more fusion food! My favourite is the Lemak Padi pasta!
The portions are also HUGE, so would definitely recommend sharing. I tried their salad this time around and it was delicious, with fresh veggies and crispy chicken ๐
Just a word of warning, don't order cheese fries, salad and fried mushrooms. They ALL come with cheese and mayo so, it can get abit too cheesy ๐
2. ICHIKOKUDO
My favourite here is any of the butter ramens! The ramen I usually go for is the beef one ($13.90). They are known for their ramen, so I always eat that. Haven't had a chance to try their donburi (rice bowl) yet.
If you're on a tight budget, you can go for the lunch deals or the original ramen for just $9.90 ๐ and that's pretty cheap considering you can find it in the heart of town, at 313 Somerset.
3. IKEA
My favourite is actually, the dessert, the ice-cream ๐ Been eating it since I was a kid, and some habits die hard, haha.
I tried the famed Swedish meatballs too, and the jam, gives it a unique taste that pairs perfectly with the mashed potato and cream sauce โจ๏ธ Wanted to try the butterfly pea nasi lemak, but they had run out by then, so try to come earlier if you can!
Hope you'll enjoy the list! ๐๐ผ
