🌭 Dishes: Have always been a fan of Surrey Hills so imagine our excitement when we heard about their recent collaboration with Chef Ken! Sadly, the seafood udon crab broth was out of stock during our visit, but we managed to try the Braised Pork Ribs, and Lala Capellini regardless.

The fragrance of the lala broth left me reaching out for more, and I love how fat and juicy the clams were. As for the braised pork ribs, it’s cooked to perfection with just the right amount of pork and fats ratio… I only wished that they had more radish along with it.

We also ordered the cauliflower steak as with every balance diet, you need your greens (lol) but it got a bit gelat after awhile… Duck confit on the other hand, wasn’t bad but then again, tasted abit salty towards the end of the meal. In conclusion, I would recommend going for the tater tots, laksa and the crab avo which are permanent items on their menu if you’re planning to visit.

🛋️ Ambience: They have recently expanded the seating area which means less waiting time is required! We visited during peak hour lunch crowd with a reservation and the food came fairly quick too. (PS a friend of mine spilled her coffee during the meal, and they replaced it FOC for us too!)
