life gets even the best of us, and itβs easy to feel tired and drained from the daily routine. keeping my mental health balanced is something that i prioritise, and here are some of my favourite ways to slow down and heal my soul:
FORMING FITNESS HABITS β
when you exercise, your body releases endorphins which make you feel great, on top of the adrenaline you get from the physical activity. i find that exercising helps take my mind off any troubles i faced earlier on in the day, as i need to focus on my breathing and movements!
SPA FOR THE SKIN & SOUL β
every month, iβll set aside some money and time to make sure that i treat myself to something indulgent. one of my favourite pampering treats is a luxurious facial to properly care for my skin, especially during periods when i have neglected it due to stress, falling sick or overworking.
HEALING MY HEADSPACE β
every week, i try to clear out my thoughts and meditate. while i should be trying to do this everyday, iβm attempting baby steps for now as meditation is actually a lot harder than expected. after a few tries, being able to flush out my inner voice and focus on breathing and having a peaceful quiet 10 minutes really helped with my overall mood β¨
