IS THIS FOR REAL: TRANSFERPROOF GLOSSY LIPPIES?

‘Gloss’, ‘transferproof’, and ‘long-lasting’ are generally words you wouldn’t see meshed together in a product, but Maybelline said “let’s do the impossible”. 🤷🏻‍♀️💅

The Superstay Lip Vinyls claim to be 16-hour long-lasting and transferproof as well, and after tryinng them out for a week, I am finally ready to review these lippies!

Overall Rating: 8.5/10

Colour Payoff: Very pigmented

Lasting Power: 8 hours with food and drinks

Texture: Very thin and lightweight

Finish: Glossy, but not the glossiest. A little sticky as well

Transfer: Bulletproof until it touches oily food

General Thoughts:

The shade range had more cool-toned shades (Cheeky, Unrivaled, Coy) than warm-toned shades (Mischievous, Saucy). It seems like Maybelline SG only brought in 5 shades, which is a pity in my opinion, as the formula is pretty amazing and it would have been great if all the shades available in the US were available here as well. The fact that it’s literally KISSPROOF for a glossy lip is amazing!!

I also realised that I have been reaching out for the shade Saucy quite a bit — a beautiful dried rose hue.
