Singapore’s weather is always hot and humid, and applying skincare / sunscreen may feel like something to avoid because of that, but sun protection is important no matter whether you live in the tropics or the arctic. Comparison:

For the same price, I’d choose the SKIN1004 one any time and any day. It’s literally taken over my Round Lab and BOJ sunscreens as my top go-to sun protection for the past month. The Isntree one isn’t bad at all, but the sunscreen scent is pretty off-putting for me even though it definitely isn’t a strong scent at all. I love how lightweight and skincare-like the SKIN1004 one feels, and I ✨love✨ applying it, like it makes me WANT to put on sunscreen (can you believe it??)

The Isntree one is the newly reformulated version of the viral Isntree sunscreen. I didn’t try the previous rendition so I wouldn’t be able to compare!

I’d say if you have combination to oily skin, the SKIN1004 one is perfect for you! For those with dry skin, perhaps the Isntree one would suit you better. I have combination skin (dry cheeks and oily T-zone) and the former has been my absolute fave.
