⛴️ People are kiasu and they chiong for seats… board earlier if you want window seats!

— Marina South Pier ➻ St John’s Island

Ferry departs at from Marina South Pier (a short walk from the MRT) towards St John’s Island. Ride is ~40mins.

Tbh St John’s doesn’t have anything much other than lots of nature, good for a short walk around.

— St John’s Island ➻ Lazarus Island

Lazarus Island has both land and sand. It’s a 20-30mins walk from St John’s with mostly flat road

🚲 Bike rental is available along the walk if you want to cycle amongst folklore trees~

♨️ You can visit the beach but a BIG downside is the HEAT. NO SHELTER AT ALL. We got badly baked that day so I don’t recommend…

And in case you can’t tell, lots of walking involved so TRAVEL LIGHT😭 Bring light snacks! Don’t be like us carrying a whole tingkat around…

— St John’s ➻ Kusu Island

Leave Lazarus 20-30mins earlier to make it back to St John’s in time to board the ferry towards Kusu Island. There’s a temple there to visit!

Kusu Island is a better place to picnic than at Lazarus Beach as there are shady areas & restrooms without compromising the sea view~

Don’t forget to leave Kusu by the last ferry back to MSP if not you’ll be stranded there :P
