Found out about this cafe after hiking at Mount Faber and despite being in a rather inconspicuous location, it had a steady stream of patrons on a weekend morning!
We had to wait ~20 min before we were assigned a seat. The place was mostly in blues and whites, which kinda reminds me of the classic Santorini colour scheme. It’s quite a small cafe with ~40 seats and serves brunch, pasta and western mains. Prices are very affordable with most dishes ranging $16-$18. The food was so good the first time I had it, I returned every week after hiking at Mount Faber!
Here’s what we had:
• Babyback ribs ($22) - tender and moist with just the right amount of sauce 👌🏻
• Pork Chops ($20) - Tender and flavourful (I usually avoid pork chops because most are quite tough) and the side of sweet potato mash is ✨ it comes with a cream sauce which goes really well with the pork chops.
• chicken overload ($16) - highlight of this dish is the truffle mushroom sauce which went well with every component - the chicken (which was moist and juicy) and the mash is super creamy and buttery!
• tomyum pasta ($17) - I absolutely love fusion dishes and this was very well-done! It’s a cream based sauce that is tangy and spicy, coating the noodles evenly. It came with prawns and clams, which were tasted pretty fresh (tho I’m sure they use frozen seafood)
• truffle mushroom bacon cream pasta ($17) - this dish was slightly drier as there was not enough sauce and the components felt quite separated, so I didn’t really enjoy this dish.
Overall, this place is a great find in the Harbourfront area and if you are in the vicinity, this place is very much worth a try!
