my two cents on nus chs (first batch😰👀)

needless to say, chs mods r kinda useless… it’s ok in a sense where certain mods do cover some of the GEs but other than that i don’t really know why it exists LOL ‼️BUT‼️ since everyone thinks this way, many actually don’t put in the effort for these mods which makes it easier to score 😃😃 i actually put in a decent amount of time (i can’t write essays to save my life) n managed to get A/A- for almost all of the chs coded mods! (dm me if u want my essays hahah) honestly it’s all about perspective — u can choose to lament the new system or embrace it and make the most out of it!!

another thing with this system is the reduced focus on core modules which can be bad (cmg from a dsa student perspective bc i know many more technical but important mods became optional) 😢😢 but it’s okay really we can pick those skills up online by ourselves or through interning if we’re really interested in them 📚

ultimately, how u approach the new chs system is up to you. make use of this opportunity to stand out by putting in the effort where others might not!✨ n remember, while some skills might be less emphasised now, there r plenty of other ways to acquire them independently~ if u have any questions regarding chs just comment below or dm me!!
