HARRY POTTER TRAVEL BUCKET LIST 🌍⚡️ PT. 1

Calling all Potterheads 👀⚡️

I’ve been a fan of Harry Potter since I was a child and when I started traveling I always had some places in mind that I wanted to visit. Over the years I’ve been to quite a few spots so here we go with the ULTIMATE HARRY POTTER TRAVEL BUCKET LIST 🌍

🚂 Glenfinnan Viaduct - Hogwarts Express, Scotland

Seeing the steam train arrive at the Glenfinnan Viaduct was literally a dream come true, I even cried a little - sappy I know! When traveling to the Viaduct make sure you arrive EARLY! I was there 1 1/2 hours before the train was supposed to drive through the viaduct and it was PACKED. From the parking lot, it’s about a half hour walk to the viewpoint and it gets quite steep towards the end, just as a heads up. It’s so worth it though!

🪦 Loch Eilt - Dumbledore’s Grave, Scotland

Everyone knows the scene in the movie, finding this spot in real life was probably more difficult haha. When driving by car there’s a bunch of islands on the lake that look awfully similar to the one from the movie and it took me quite some time to find the right one along the lake. To get a nice picture you will need to get your shoes dirty but nothing that can’t be washed off.

🛤️ King’s Cross Station, London

There’s no Hogwarts without a way to actually get there, so of course King’s Cross station had to be on the list! I’ve heard that on September 1st there’s actually a train departing to Hogwarts at 11 am and I would LOVE to see that!

🎬 WB Studio Tour, London

My absolute favorite place on this list - the Warner Brothers Studio Tour in London. I’ve been 3 times now and each time they add something new and special, making each visit exciting. It’s also quite reasonably priced in my opinion. Make sure to book in advance and get the earliest time slot possible as you can spend as much time as you want there once you’re inside.
