✈️Solo Travel Highlights from Copenhagen

I took a quick solo trip to Copenhagen for 2 days last weekend and here were some highlights!

🥐Hart Bageri Holmen I got an oat latte and cardamom croissant that was amazing! Denmark is known for their pastries - lots of items with cardamom and this did not disappoint. Hart Bageri is technically a chain with a couple different locations, but it feels more like a boutique pastry chef’s kitchen.

⚓️Nyhavn - yes, touristy, but I had to check it out. This is the waterfront area with 17th century architecture. There are beautiful colorful houses, lots of restaurants, and a path for walking along the water.

Hotel - I stayed at the Hotel NH Collection Copenhagen , a 4-star modern luxury hotel in Christianshavn. It’s a 10-minute walk from the center of town and close to lots of public transportation. They also had 24-hour room service and I thought it was nice they had an eco-friendly incentive - forgo housekeeping one day and get a free drink. Europe overall is a lot more progressive when it comes to the environment - it inspired me to do better by using less plastic. Price: ~$300/ night.

🏰Rosenborg Castle + gardens - so the inside was actually sold out, but you can still walk around the outside and gardens for free! There were beautiful bushes and flowers organized in a maze. I strolled around for 20 minutes (even in the rain). It was the definition of romanticizing your life 💗

👛Prada Copenhagen - I bought myself a little treat (the Nylon waterproof 2000 mini bag). Because you get a tax refund at the airport and it’s cheaper to begin with in Europe, I saved over $300 by buying this in Copenhagen compared to if I were to have bough it in NY. It was definitely a splurge, but I recently got a job promotion in May and have been signing some nice extra content creator gigs, so this was a gift to myself to celebrate 🎉 Price: ~$700 after savings
