Thank you Arizona Diamondbacks for a great season!

We ultimately didn’t win the World Series, but I’m sure proud of my team! We survived doubt from most people & I’m so happy we proved them wrong. As much as it pains me that they didn’t win, the Texas Rangers played very well and deserve the win👏🏼.

I was taken to my first D-Backs game when I was 4 or 5 with my parents. I vaguely remember it but I remember I loved it so much. Fast forward to middle school, my brother and I would sit in his room & watch the D-Backs game on tv. Those were the moments I enjoyed with my family. Those memories will always be cherished by me since now my parents are divorced. And I hardly see my brother now.

My boyfriend of 5 years decided to take me to a game this year. I was hesitant at first. Thinking of all those memories made me a little sad. Because it reminded me of when my family was whole. But I’m glad he took me. He brought me back into the game (literally) and I got back into baseball like I used to❤️. And I thank him so much for letting me relive one of the happiest moments of my little life. We frequently went to games this year whenever we could. And each game experience was amazing, regardless if the D-Backs won or not. It’s a bittersweet ending to the season. I hope we make it back next year!
