My DIY Pinkmas

I can’t afford December Diamonds even though I ADORE their designs. They have a pink Kremlin that is just AMAZING but it’s over $500 😱. I found these white cookie gingerbread houses this year and decided to paint them with pink accents. I actually got the idea after ONLY seeing the small flat house with pink accents. I thought it would be cute. And then it occurred to me that the bigger houses would also be cute with pink accents. It was only after I had completed my color mapping that I saw that December Diamonds actually makes these big houses with the pink accents. But since I did it before I saw them, I came up with something that’s actually quite different. I don’t want to toot my own horn but I like it better 😝. There is no gingerbread color on my big houses. I am not a huge fan of brown even as a gingerbread color. And there is a lot more pink so it fits my style better. Also I think the December Diamonds house pink is a bit more on the bright side vs the pastel side which I prefer, but I have not seen them in person so I can’t be for sure on that. I have a couple of these designs available in the shop! I like the big houses so much that I am going to use them for Valentine’s Day too! They seem like they will be such a perfect transition! Especially the tree. I am going to change out the bow to a white and pink floral one 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Do you decorate for Love Day?
