School Nurse WFH edition🫶

Hey!

So I’m a school nurse and this week I’ll be working from home.

What can a school nurse do working from home?

I asked myself the same question when my school district decided to go virtual due to the rain storm.

Well, I have to manage attendances and answer parent’s questions or concerns via email.

I still have to report any illnesses to the state and alongside attend meetings with the staff members.

The best part is that I get to catch up on my paperworks that take forever to complete when I’m in school. I’m responsible for all 400 students and I’m always taking care of at least 30-40 students a day. Many with cold and flu symptoms, stomach bug, skin conditions, asthma, etc.

I honestly love this side of nursing!
