What you’ll need for this beauty :

🕯️ Several toilet paper / paper towel rolls (yay for recycle reuse repurpose ♻️!)

🕯️ black acrylic paint

🕯️ hot glue gun / glue

🕯️1$ store candlestick

🕯️ 1$ store skull

🕯️ tea lights (also from the dollar store)

The easiest thing to do is to place your hot glue on the edge of the cardboard roll and let it drip down organically —it’ll dry super quick so you’ve got to be a little speedy with it ! That’s step one. After that, all you’ll do is paint the entire thing, pro tip is to also do the inside after the outside dries bc while you don’t SEE the inside, it helps to make the cardboard more sturdy for reuse / stability (:

And the last thing you’ll do is stick the tea light into the top! They’ll fit perfectly actually !

For the skull / candlestick center piece, I just painted the candlestick also black (if you can’t find a black one) and then glued the skull right to its top and VOILA! You’ve got yourself a spooky little decoration.

For the mason jar mummies, (I also made these) all I did was paint the jars white and then simply used the cheese cloth (that comes out around Halloween time) as the “mummy wrap” —I used hot glue to place those as well and then just added some googly eyes! I also put a tea light in these and they are a SUPER cute add on to your Halloween decor collection and are also wicked simple to make 😉🫶🏻✨
