MORE interesting things to do | 🇨🇳 Chongqing Pt. 2

Apart from visiting the iconic tourist spots, here are 𝓂𝑜𝓇𝑒 interesting things to do in China, Chongqing!

1️⃣ 𝙒𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙥 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬 😆 (~S$15+)

The show I watched is called 原气喜剧脱口秀 (YuanQ Comedy). In each show they have a lineup of comedy actors, some doing an ad-hoc interaction with the audience and some with lines they’ve prepared beforehand. What sets this apart is they even have a music segment as well as magic show!! The programme depends on which location you go to - they have several shows in popular locations like 观音桥/ 解放碑/ 时代天街 etc. Disclaimer: you must be able to understand chinese (well)!

2️⃣ 𝙒𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩 🎵

(This is the reason I went to Chongqing!!) I have been a huge fan of Hua Chen Yu for 7 years, and I finally have adult money to attend his concert 🥹 Once I secured the concert ticket, I immediately booked my flight. The whole atmosphere was just next level and much more hyped than Singapore’s concerts 😭🫶🫶 his voice was gODLY. Ticket is tied to your identity number (so in my case to my passport number), and you scan that to enter.

3️⃣ 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙡 💆‍♀️🧘‍♀️ (S$60++)

I went to 观远足道养生 where you can enjoy a massage in a private room then chill and watch shows after + buffet! The massage was relaxing, too soft for me but the overall experience was really chill. I missed the buffet as I went too late but they still had some snacks/ you can order noodles cooked to order - like 酸辣粉/ 重庆面 etc.
