guest bedroom design inspiration ✨

our upstairs guest bedroom was one of the very first rooms I decorated once we moved into our home.

during the building process, we were sure to include two oversized windows to provide extra natural light for this space. there’s also a large closet with french doors and tall ceilings for a bright, airy feel.

for furniture, we used my old bed frame and night stands from my apartment. they were neutral and high quality so it seemed like the perfect fit!

I snagged some fresh new bedding from target and was careful to add soft sheets and layers of blankets so that our guests are always comfortable no matter what their sleep preferences are.

can’t forget about the throw pillows! I accumulated these over time and swap them out with the ones from our primary and downstairs guest bedroom so that the rooms are constantly being refreshed. these ones are from target and homegoods, two of my favorite places to find affordable throw pillows! pro tip: you can always swap out the inserts for down feather inserts from amazon for a more luxe vibe! ✨
