Healing journey… 🫶🏼✨

Everyone’s healing journey looks different. Everyone’s healing from different experiences and traumas. But one thing that is consistent when it comes to healing is the things that you begin to realize ONCE you start the healing process.

I’ve personally gone through many situations in my life that I’ve realized (sometimes without even knowing it) that I was healing myself from.

Then there’s been other situations that I’ve actively had to WORK on healing, moving forward and practicing forgiveness.

Whatever your healing journey looks like and whatever you are healing from - just know that there is such a beautiful road ahead of you even when you can’t see it!

I began a more recent healing journey at the beginning of this year and it involved a lot of growing pains, acceptance and self discovery… but I’m finally at the part in my journey where I am actually THANKFUL for the pain I experienced because it brought me to where I am in this very moment (which I am beyond appreciative and thankful for) 🖤

Remember that healing is not linear.

Some days it’ll feel like you’re taking 100 steps back when you feel like you finally just moved 10 steps forward (and that’s okay).

Embrace the journey.

Work on healing.
