Journaling is truly a THERAPY DUUUUPE 💅🏼

It has been the one consistent activity that has helped me heal and move forward through heartbreak, betrayal, depression and anxiety.

I’ve never been really great at talking about my feelings out loud. I like to think that I’m getting a little bit better as I’m getting older and working on communication - but journaling is so different. It’s allowed me to express and understand my thoughts, feelings and emotions when I don’t even understand them myself sometimes.

When I first started journaling, I used it as a way to vent and let out all of my problems, frustrations and sadness. Slowly but surely it turned into a more positive and uplifting experience where I spent more of my time focusing and reflecting on the positive things in my life… from all the things I was grateful for to the little things that made me happy throughout the day that day.

I think both forms of journaling are incredibly beneficial for our mental well being.

Whether you’re writing out pages and pages of your fears, insecurities, anger, etc. or you’re writing down a list of your future aspirations and b expressing gratitude for the little things in life… you’re allowing yourself to feel and heal in one way or another.

I put together 7 different journaling prompts that will take such a short amount of time to complete but it’ll have a lasting impact.
