Osaka Day Trip Itinerary

I took a day trip to Osaka from Kyoto~here’s everything I did in a day. 🇯🇵

👀Kuchu Teien Observatory : This observatory has a 360º stunning view of Osaka. The observatory deck costs 1500 yen and is open every day from 9:30AM-10PM. They have a fun gift shop and cafe too–if you’re going in summer, check out the ramune Japanese soda soft serve!

🏯 Osaka Castle: Take a taxi from the observatory to Osaka Castle. There is no admission to view the castle from the park but it costs 600 yen to enter the castle.

🍞 Comeconoco Gluten-free Laboratory & Cafe 大阪天満橋店: If you are gluten-free, like me, you have to visit this cafe! It’s about a 20 minute walk from the castle. They have fluffy Japanese toast, desserts, matcha lattes, egg salad sandwiches, and more!

🏃🏻‍♂️Dotonbori: Stroll the lively streets of Dotonbori and eat the street food–they’re known for takoyaki! Check out the shops, billboards, 3D building art, and the Glico Running Man sign!
