When we think of our fitness journey - we think of workouts, nutrition or the results. But what about how we FEEL? I've been in my fitness journey for 5 years now consistently and here is what I noticed in my lifestyle alone that changed for the better.
1. I found a community of like-minded friends. I got into my fitness joureny after college - my friends were drinking buddies and classmates. I wanted to move on post college and had goals but those didn't fit it anymore. So I found like-minded new friends in workout classes that instead of going to a bar on friday - we went to a workout class and grabbed dinner or weekends were spent going for beach walks instead of netflix hangovers. Don't get me wrong - its fun for a bit but if you are like me and wanted a bit more productive, wholesome groups - fitness classes are a great way to start!
2. my confidence projected in all aspects of my life. What I wore, how I talked, walking into a room - working on me for me made me feel important and valued no matter what!
