Comfort Food Reinvented: Turkey Shepherd’s Pie

First time making shepherd's pie with a twist! 🍽️ Here's how it went down:

I sautéed diced onions before adding in the ground turkey, seasoning it with onion powder, garlic powder, minced garlic, crushed pepper, soul seasoning, sazon, and black pepper. Once the turkey was perfectly cooked, I mixed in a medley of string beans, corn, carrots, and peas.

For the topping, I whipped up homemade mashed potatoes, seasoned with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and a touch of evaporated milk for creaminess.

Layered the pan with the seasoned ground turkey, topped it with the mashed potatoes, sprinkled on some shredded cheese, and baked for about 25 minutes. Delicious comfort food with a healthier twist!
