Here are my recommendations on how to get the lowest possible prices for concerts!

🎵Check to see if there is a presale for the show you want to go to. These happen before general sale and the prices will be at face value. There will be fees and taxes included.

🎵The day of general sale tickets should be at face value. Sometimes there is official platinum prices on Ticketmaster which means they raised the prices because of high demand. Try to avoid this, but if a show is in high demand then it may be difficult to get resale therefore I would say buy the official platinum tickets if you really want to attend.

🎵Resale is always a great option for tickets. I would only get resale the day before or day of show because they will be at the lowest possible price. Resellers/ scrapers get nervous that their tickets won’t sell so they lower the prices. I recommend Stubhub because in case a reseller/ scalper doesn’t transfer your tickets Stubhub will give you a full refund. I am not sure if any of website does that, but from my experience Stubhub is great. NEVER buy tickets from Twitter or Instagram because you never know if someone actually has the tickets. It is a big risk, but I have heard of success stories. This is just my opinion to never do it. If you do, use Paypal to send the money.

🎵Box office is the BEST place to go. Even if a show is completely sold out go day of the show to box office hours before opening and they will always have tickets. You have to go early because people lineup and there is limited amounts. Box office sells tickets for shows at any time during their working hours for shows that aren’t sold out, as well. I was able to get Olivia Rodrigo tickets day of her first show as Madison Square Garden and Harry Styles One Night Only at UBS Arena because of box office! Box office also does not charge you fees like they do when you buy tickets online. Sometimes there aren’t even taxes!

All these tips have helped me go to many concerts in my experience. Everyone has their own ways to get cheaper prices, but these are the four ways I am able to afford many shows. I would I have been to about 70 concerts and there have been about 5 others I have wanted to go that I couldn’t get an affordable price.
