Facetune is the worst

This post is coming from seeing multiple “how I Facetune my body” posts

I think as a society we are aware now that women are held to impossible standards. And those standards are upheld by celebrities lying about plastic surgery and having a team of editors perfecting every Instagram post and magazine cover.

It saddens me to see the insecurities created in young women by this culture. It took me a long time to be comfortable in my own skin and I still have many bad days of dysmorphia.

now….on to way I hate Facetune

Editing every photo of yourself, shrinking yourself, erasing skin flaws, will only create more insecurities. Not only for yourself but for other women and potentially young girls seeing your posts.

I just hate to see women trying to uphold this impossible beauty standard. One that is complete horseshit!

Cellulite is beautiful! Wrinkles! Dark circles! Acne! Your body shape!

All of those thing have showed that you have lived and are living!
