How to dye Easter eggs with littles

Decorating easter eggs is one of my favorite childhood memories with my mom and I love doing it with my kids ❤️ I tried a new method this year that cost me next to zero dollars since I had everything except the white eggs on hand already.

10/10 recommend this method if you have little kids! My almost 2 year old participated with my help. He did try to eat the baking soda paint but he lived and it was easy to clean up🙃

Here is what we did;

1.Fill empty spaces in muffin tin with baking soda (about a table spoon) and food dye OR a boiled egg. I used gel colors and needed to add water but with regular dye you would not need to do that.

2. Let them paint the eggs until their heart is content

3. Pour vinegar on top of eggs until it bubbles over

4. dry off and enjoy 😊
