Can you “try for a boy”?!

Obviously it’s already a 50/50 chance hah, but our friends told us about the Shettles method and we tried it for our first!

Basically the theory goes like this:

female sperm swim slower but will last longer. Make sperm swim faster but die off quicker.

SO, if you want a boy you ONLY try during your 24-48hr of ovulation when the egg is already there ready to be fertilized (because male will get there first). If you want a girl, you try the 3-5 days before ovulation but then abstain the day before and of ovulation, since females will “hang around” longer in your body waiting for the egg to be released whereas the male will get there first but die off before the egg is even there.

Who knows! But apparently it increases your chances from 50/50 to about 70-80% odds!
