tips for cramming for finals

Listen no one wants to be in the spot where you are cramming for finals. It is always better to set yourself up to where you have plenty of time and have a solid plan, but sometimes life happens and you have to cram. If you do find yourself in that situation, here are my tips.

You need to get straight to do problems, or whatever the alternative is for the type of exam you are taking. Reading your notes page for page and going through the class power points is great, but not when you are in a time crunch. Instead turn to these to fill in areas that you need help on that you identify when doing problems.

Reduce distractions as much as you can. Go on DND delete apps that distract you, whatever you have to do to hone in.

Get a good night's rest. No matter what, sleep before your exam, do not try to pull an all nighter than walk into your exam. At least this never works for me.

Study by yourself. I have other posts talking about this in more detail, but I truthfully think this is the best thing to do when you're in a time crunch especially.
