Fall poses for your next photo shoot!

Posing can be so hard when you aren’t super comfortable in front of a camera! And the best advice I can give is just BE NATURAL!!

But if that seems scary and intimidating here are a few things you can think about:

1. Use props!!

- these props can be as simple as a coffee mug, a purse, or even sunglasses.

- have something to “mess with” besides your hair!!

- with it being colder as the seasons change I love using coffee cups and just pretending to sip it. Or even holding it close to you like it’s keeping you warm!

2. Look in all different directions!

- whenever I am taking someone’s pictures I make sure to give them at least 4 places to look at. Either over my shoulder, up towards the sun, to the side of them etc.

- this is going to give your photos a more candid feel, compared to you just smiling at the camera.

3. Using one group of colors

- one thing I make sure is that a. My scene that I’m shooting at is going to match the persons outfit and b. That my props will edit well with them

-make sure your setting has one group of colors! It makes the pictures more appealing

Posing can be so uncomfortable, but try and relax as possible so that they look more natural. I love doing the “snuggling” look with big sweaters pose. It gives off the fall vibe!
