Makeup review - Lancôme

I’ve tried the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealers, and here is my take!

Based on my complexion, they sent me three different shades:

- 350 Bisque C - for contouring - which I’ve used right below my cheekbones, near the hairline, sides of my nose, and jawline.

- Buff Neutral - for correction - to cover my dark circles and camouflage the sagging along my marionette lines.

- Buff Cool - for highlighting - I’ve applied it on my forehaed, cheekbones, jaw, chin, and nose.

I’m not quite sure this is a good way to contour my face, actually I’m a makeup newbie and still experimenting (if you have feedbacks and tips, please feel free to be brutally honest in the comments), but that’s fine, as what I want to focus on here, is the quality of this concealer and how it lives up to its promise of providing full, long lasting coverage, while keeping a lightweight flawless finish.

So let’s starts!

1. the applicator is soft and gentle, however a little too big for me, I would have preferred it slightly thiner. Especially because when you take it out, soaked in product, it can get a little messy.

2. I’ve used the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation as a base, and I got good coverage with the concealer. Next time I’ll give it a try without foundation to see how it performs by itself.

3. Now the best part — quoting “A hydrating, lightweight full coverage concealer that brightens dark under eyes and covers imperfections without creasing or caking.” This is 100% accurate. I have very dry skin and this concealer feels amazing on the face, and it doesn’t move or builds up in my fine lines! This is what really makes it worthy of the hype for me.

4. Long lasting and beautiful matte finish — also true!

To conclude I give the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealers a 8, I've found it very easy to use and it does the job, so I’ll definitely keep using it!
